Shutter Bug Pics specializes in bodybuilding and fitness photography for competitors who want professional images of their physique, competition prep or time onstage. Based in Parrish in the Tampa Bay area, photographer Stephanie Burke works specifically with bodybuilders, physique competitors, fitness models, coaches and trainers.

For competitors, photography can be scheduled around different points in the bodybuilding journey. Shutter Bug Pics offers competition-day coverage, including backstage and onstage photography, prejudging and finals coverage, and high-resolution stage images. This gives competitors the opportunity to document more than the few moments they spend directly in front of the judges.

Physique portfolio sessions are also available for athletes who want professional photographs while they are at or near competition condition. These sessions can take place in a studio or outdoor setting and include direction on posing and angles. High-definition retouching is included.

Stephanie's work is focused specifically on photographing muscular physiques. Lighting, positioning and camera angles are used to emphasize muscularity, symmetry, definition and conditioning — details that are particularly important in bodybuilding photography.

Competitors can also book gym photography sessions to capture training rather than finished stage presentation. These shoots focus on movement, workouts and the physical work behind a competition prep. Outdoor and individual portrait sessions provide additional options for athletes who want images for social media, sponsorship materials, coaching businesses or personal portfolios.

Shutter Bug Pics works with NPC and IFBB competitors as well as athletes from other bodybuilding organizations. Services are not limited to competitors already at the professional level; first-time competitors and athletes preparing for their first show can also book sessions.
